Meet Lisa Walden
About lisa walden
Lisa was born and raised in Georgia. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.
Following graduation, Lisa worked as a Child Protective Services worker in Gainesville, Georgia. There, she became very familiar with the family court and the foster care system. She spent three years as a CPS worker before transitioning to the role of Crime Analyst with the Athens-Clarke County Police Department.
Lisa and her family relocated to Summerville in 2007, where she became an active member at Summerville Baptist Church. She served as an adult Sunday school leader, Chairperson of the Bylaws Committee, member of the Benevolence Committee, and Sunday School Coordinator. She also acted as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem for Dorchester County.
In 2016, Lisa returned to school, obtaining her law degree from the Charleston School of Law in 2020. While there, she acted as a fellow for the Legal Research, Analysis, and Writing department. She also assisted in the development of West Virginia’s Open Courts Compendium. Additionally, she volunteered with South Carolina Legal Services in their Domestic Violence clinic.
At Leviner Law Firm, Lisa handles contested divorce, child custody and child support litigation. She is well-versed in educational matters involving special needs children and provides particular support and resources to victims of domestic violence.
Lisa and her husband currently reside in Summerville with their two children. In their spare time, they enjoy spending time with their friends, Georgia football, traveling, and outdoor activities.
